How did you venture into the online gaming space? Which online games do you play regularly? What gaming platforms do you primarily use? (PC, console, mobile) How many hours do you typically spend gaming each week?
I used to play poker with my friends and eventually due to lack of options to play round the clock I switched to online poker. I play a mix of my mobile and PC with PC contributing as high as 80% of my volume. I typically spend 40-45 hours playing a week.
For how many years have you been playing online games?
10
What are your educational qualifications?
I have a BBA and then a MBA in innovation and entrepreneurship.
What skills do you think are required to play online games?
Persistence, patience, logical reasoning, problem solving and an affinity to take on tough challenges.
Does playing online game form part of your daily life? is it a part of your livelihood?
It is not just a part of my livelihood, it is literally my entire livelihood!

Poker only. The reputation of a site, the customer support they offer and whether if any online forum has any recognisable complaints against them.

Patience, endurance and a lot of knowledge about minute intricate spots that make up for crucial junctions of a tournament.

Yes, frauds are an inevitable part from any persons life who is involved in online gaming with money. The only way to counter it is by dealing only with those who you could sleep worry free with your money else chances are that you will run into a scam sooner or later.
Community Engagement: Do you actively participate in gaming communities or forums? How important do you think community engagement is for the online gaming community?
Yes, very actively! I think forums for online gaming are the pillar stones to community connections and overall fairplay upholding on parts of both operators as well as players as this space helps everyone keep up with latest developments of all kinds pertinent to their industries.
What do you think about addiction and dependency on online gaming?
I think that’s the only sad part of this industry when you can see people being helplessly and hopelessly addicted to online gaming because they don’t know where to draw the line between fun and addiction.
Are you aware of the existing laws and regulations related to online gaming in your country? Do you think there should be more regulations to protect gamers' rights and safety online?
Our industry is still being taxed and governed under laws based out in 1976. I strongly feel that a stronger regulatory body should be in place to protect both player and operator interest as the lack of one encourages people from both camps to take advantage of this situation every now and then when it stands to benefit them largely even if at the expense of another person being wronged.
If there is one thing about the online gaming industry you can convey to the government, what would it be?
We are as important as the job doers of the world and it is important to recognise us with the same level of respect and encouragement as them because if things change at grass root level then only can we overcome society stigmas and go and shine for our nation at the highest levels internationally!
