If there is one thing about the online gaming industry you can convey to the government, what would it be?
Gaming, especially Poker, is a Game of Skill, just like Chess, where in you study and develop strategies using tools and analyzing your game. It should not be treated at par with pure games of chance like sports betting etc. and should not be taxed as highly as it is currently. In a country like India, which is marred by high levels of Youth Unemployment, gaming provides an avenue for generating self employment. In most developed countries, Poker is not only recognized as a Game of Skill, it is also taught in the world's best universities.
